Projects
Project 1: Landcover Analysis using Google Earth Engine (GEE)
Description:
Perform a land cover analysis using Google Earth Engine (GEE) with the Random Forest machine learning algorithm. In this project, I am conducting a comprehensive land cover analysis for a designated production forest concession located in Sabah, Malaysia. This entails selecting representative samples from various land cover classes, assessing accuracy through the utilization of a confusion matrix, and subsequently exporting the results in TIFF format for subsequent processing within ArcGIS.
Key Skills:
remote sensing, spatial programming, spatial analysis, and machine learning.
Tools and technologies:
GEE, JavaScript, ArcGIS, and Random Forest.

classProperty: 'landcover',
inputProperties: veg_composite.bandNames()
});

Project 2: Administer PostGIS & Geoserver for Personal Use Independently
Description:
Administer a PostgreSQL server on a personal Virtual Private Server (VPS) for educational purposes. This server is hosted on a Contabo VPS and serves as the platform for sharing geospatial data featured on my website.
Key Skills:
geospatial, database, and SQL.
Tools and technologies:
PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and Linux.

Project 3: Engage in Practical Machine Learning Activities
Description:
I recently completed a Data Analyst course on Geeklurn, where I acquired valuable skills. I learned how to integrate machine learning techniques into my skill set, which will enable me to address and resolve complex geospatial challenges in the future.
Key Skill:
spatial programming, machine learning, and deep learning.
Tools and technologies:
Python, SVM, linear regression, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), and statistics.

Project 4: WebGIS Development
Description:
For my final thesis, I undertook the project of developing a WebGIS using open-source software. This WebGIS platform has the capability to not only visualize data but also perform attribute and spatial queries, enhancing its functionality and usefulness
Key Skills:
Back-end programming, webGIS, and SQL.
Tools and technologies:
Php, Laflet, and PostGIS.

Project 5: Transform JSON Data Into A Shapefile Format
Description:
I have implemented a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model to detect specific objects of interest. The output from this CNN model is stored in a JSON file. Leveraging an R Script, I perform the conversion of this JSON data into a shapefile format, facilitating subsequent analysis and manipulation within QGIS.
Key Skill:
Deep Learning, CNN, image analysis.
Tools and technologies:
Robo Flow, Python, R.
